Fishery, Prek Chhdor Village, Cambodia, 632 families
In Prek Chhdor village a wide range of fish nets and traps are used in the streams, lakes and flooded fields of the Tonle Sap Lake area. This long net has the legally required net hole space to allow smaller fishes to escape. The community Fisheries programme is trying to educate fisherfolk to follow these rules to save the fish stocks.
