Fishery, Prek Chhdor Village, Cambodia, 632 families
In Prek Chhdor village a wide range of fish nets and traps are used in the streams, lakes and flooded fields of the Tonle Sap Lake area. These fish traps are made from natural materials and each is fashioned to catch a certain kind of Aquatic creature. The community Fisheries programme is trying to educate fisher folk to follow these rules to save the fish stocks.
